Upon moving into the run-down Spiderwick Estate with their mother, twin brothers Jared and Simon Grace, along with their sister Mallory, find themselves pulled into an alternate world full of faeries and other creatures.

The film is based on a series of books, The Spiderwick Chronicles, by Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi. It is not yet known how many of the different book plots will feature in the film. Freddie will be playing the role of twins, Simon and Jared Grace in the film.
